Hemel Hempstead MP, Sir Mike Penning, visited St John Ambulance at their local headquarters in Crescent Road.
Sir Mike was shown around the headquarters where he met volunteers and discussed their role in the community, the services they provide and fundraising.
Sir Mike said:
“I was very impressed to learn about the wide range of services provided in Dacorum by St John Ambulance volunteers.
“We have all seen them ready to provide first aid at local events. I was also interested to learn about a series of CPR/defibrillator training events run by the unit as part of the national Restart a Heart campaign.”
