Hemel Hempstead Member of Parliament, The Rt Hon Mike Penning MP, has expressed his delight that Hemel Hempstead has been voted the 8th happiest place in the UK in Rightmove’s ‘Happy at Home’ survey.

Mike Penning MP said:
“I am delighted that Hemel Hempstead has been voted the 8th happiest place in the UK and top in the south east. 

“Those of us who live here know that Hemel Hempstead is a great place to live – with lots of green spaces and a pleasant environment. The town centre improvements are progressing well and the Old Town and Jarman Fields are looking great!
