Mike Penning has met with Helen Bennett of The Ironing Co to hear about the business and learn about its growth and success.

The Boxmoor based company has gone from strength to strength since its start in 2011. The Ironing Co provides ironing, laundry, dry clearing and a repair & alteration service to Dacorum and neighbouring areas.  

Recently launching their first new product - Carpet Moth Killer - has proved an exciting and successful initiative due to the increasing number of homeowners experiencing the devastating effects of moth infestation (see www.theironingco.biz/products for more details).

Founder and proprietor Helen Bennett said: “It was great to meet with Mike to discuss small businesses and tell him about our product and services and success in employing people who want flexible working hours, in particular mothers who struggle balancing work with childcare.   We have built up a great local customer base and I believe our professional experience, high level of customer service including free text alerts so customers know when we will deliver – have been vital in enabling us to build an excellent reputation and to grow year on year.”
